404ing It will be back in March at the UCB Theatre East! On March 25th at 7pm, I’ll be doing a 30 minute version of my show. One guest at the end, who will be announced soon! I’ll be preparing for my PAX East panel in April.
On April 13th, at 1:30pm 404ing It: Breaking (Down) the Internet will spend an hour with these gentlemen! Eric Pope of Harmonix, Jeff Gerstmann of Giant Bomb, and Max Temkin of Cards Against Humanity will join me for a panel about video games, conventions, and (of course) the internet.
404ing It: Breaking (Down) the Internet will be returning to the Penny Arcade Expo East in Boston! We’ll be up on Sunday, April 13th at 1:30pm. The panel will be livestreamed on twitch.tv if you can’t make it to the show.
Panel guests include Jeff Gerstmann (Giant Bomb), Eric Pope (Harmonix), and Max Temkin (Cards Against Humanity)! I’m also cooking up a special secret 4th guest I can’t reveal yet!
That’s got to be the goal: to destroy less and to create more. To increase awesome and decrease suck. That—-That’s what I believe in. That is what I believe in. That, I think, ultimately humans are pretty good at. And are getting better at.
404ing It’s tagline “A Show That Give YOU the Very Best of the Internet” is not hyperbole. I, every show, am attempting to showcase the pockets of the internet where wonder lives. Scroll back through the videos I post, and you’ll see a sampling of what brings me joy. You might not like everything I post, but hopefully you’ll understand why I like it.
A secondary goal of 404ing It revealed itself to me when I went from doing a 30 minute show to an hour. When I was able to go from 1 guest to 3 guests, I didn’t have to book the biggest name I could get that month. I can book people that I think are interesting who many not be super well known. I’ve been able to showcase different voices and see what THEY love online. To put it bluntly, it’s not all 20s/30s white straight dudes. I’ve been able to showcase the wide range of people I know in NYC, and I’m always grateful that those people are willing to share their favorite things with me.
